Alabama Basketball Adds Forward Keitenn Bristow from Tarleton State via Transfer Portal
Alabama basketball has bolstered its roster for next season with the addition of former Tarleton State forward Keitenn Bristow, who committed to the Crimson Tide on Wednesday. The 6-foot-8 wing was named WAC Player of the Year last season after averaging 11.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. Bristow has three years of eligibility remaining.
Bristow adds another versatile shooter to Alabama’s lineup and is a strong fit for Nate Oats’ gritty, blue-collar style of play. The Holiday, Texas native shot 32.8% from three-point range and 46.1% from the field last season. He also led all WAC freshmen with an average of 1.1 steals per game.
Bristow becomes Alabama’s fourth transfer addition this offseason, following Bucknell center Noah Williamson, Florida State forward Taylor Bol Bowen, and Miami guard Jalil Bethea. The Tide also signed a three-player recruiting class, which includes Rivals100 forwards Amari Allen, Davion Hannah, and London Jemison.

In addition to these newcomers, Alabama will return four players from last year’s squad, including center Aiden Sherrell and guards Latrell Wrightsell Jr., Aden Holloway, and Houston Mallette. Starting guard Labaron Philon declared for the NBA Draft but remains eligible to return if he withdraws by June 15.
With Philon’s status still up in the air, the addition of Bristow brings Alabama’s scholarship count to 11, leaving two spots open before reaching the NCAA limit.
