Alabama basketball’s game against Illinois scheduled

Another key matchup for Alabama basketball next season has been set. According to a report from Made For March, the Crimson Tide will face Illinois on November 19 at Chicago’s United Center. This game will serve as the return leg of last season’s thrilling contest, where Alabama defeated Illinois 100-87 at Birmingham’s Legacy Arena.

Along with the Illinois game, Alabama has already announced two other notable non-conference matchups for the 2025-26 season. On November 13, the Tide will host Purdue at Coleman Coliseum. Additionally, Alabama will take on Arizona in Birmingham’s Legacy Arena on December 13. These high-profile games are part of a competitive non-conference schedule that will test Alabama’s readiness for the upcoming season.

The Tide’s non-conference slate also includes a game against North Dakota, giving the team a chance to build momentum before diving into SEC play. Alabama will also participate in the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas, which promises to feature exciting matchups and provide valuable experience for the team. As part of the SEC/ACC Challenge, Alabama will face off against a top ACC opponent, further strengthening their non-conference competition.

These games, along with other matchups to be announced, will help prepare Alabama for a demanding SEC schedule, and offer fans plenty of exciting basketball action throughout the season.
