Boogie Fland Pulls Out of 2025 NBA Draft

Boogie Fland has decided to pull out of the 2025 NBA Draft, his representative, Mike Miller, told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony. Although he attended the combine, Fland won’t participate in any workouts or interviews.

At 6’2″ and 210 pounds, the former five-star recruit and McDonald’s All-American was widely viewed as a second-round talent. The 18-year-old entered the transfer portal just before the late-April cutoff, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after available prospects.

In his lone season at Arkansas (2024-25), Fland featured in 21 games—starting eight—putting up 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, 1.5 steals and 31.8 minutes per contest, while shooting 37.9% overall and 34.0% from three-point range.

A mid-January right-hand injury suffered against Florida forced him out after two more starts, keeping him off the court until March. Before the layoff, he helped the Razorbacks finish 22–14 and reach the Sweet 16—where they fell to Texas Tech in overtime—and ranked 16th in the SEC in assists.

In April, head coach John Calipari lauded Fland as having first-round upside. Fland initially committed to Kentucky in October 2023 but reopened his recruitment—and ultimately followed Calipari to Arkansas—when the coach left UK for Fayetteville last spring.

Looking ahead, sources indicate Florida could be his next stop, as the Gators aim to add a playmaker alongside Princeton transfer Xaivian Lee.
