Bronny James has confirmed that he will participate in the Summer League with the Los Angeles Lakers

After all the excitement surrounding the draft, Bronny James’ rookie season unfolded mostly under the radar and without much attention.

Bronny made history by playing alongside his father in the season’s opener, but spent the bulk of the year in the G League. He quietly developed throughout the season, with a standout late-game performance against the Bucks showcasing the progress he had made.

Bronny’s growth will continue this summer, as he confirmed that he will participate in the Summer League once again. He took part in last year’s Summer League, where he struggled early on but found his rhythm in the final games in Las Vegas. This mirrored the trajectory of his regular season performance.

It will be interesting to see how much more comfortable he looks this time around. Typically, second-year players tend to perform better than rookies, and fans will hope to see that improvement from Bronny in this year’s Summer League.

Who else will join him in the Summer League is still to be seen. Dalton Knecht is a potential candidate, especially after seeing his playing time reduce toward the end of the season. Quincy Olivari, who finished the year with South Bay, could also make an appearance with the Lakers in the Summer League.
