Cowboys OL Tyler Booker to Bring His Pet Turtles to Dallas – A Shell of a Good Time!
Former Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker has a few things to figure out after being selected in the first round by the Dallas Cowboys: the playbook, bonding with his new teammates, finding a place to live, and discovering the best Tex-Mex spot in the area.
And, of course, figuring out when to bring his pet turtle, Trina, to Texas. Booker’s new home will need to be pet-friendly. “Trina will be coming to Dallas once I get everything settled,” Booker said. “Transporting the terrarium is a challenge. When I was training in Dallas, I had my dad fly in from Connecticut. He met me there, and we drove eight hours to Tuscaloosa so the turtles wouldn’t be without their tank for too long.”
So, Trina’s move to Dallas is in the works, but Booker is taking a strategic approach.
Booker is the highest-drafted offensive lineman the Cowboys have taken since selecting Tyron Smith at No. 9 in 2011.
