Former Tulsa Women’s Basketball standout reveals move to Clemson.

The Clemson Tigers women’s basketball team continues to strengthen its roster under second-year head coach Shawn Poppie with the addition of another key transfer.

Hadley Periman, formerly of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, announced her commitment to Clemson via social media on Tuesday, expressing gratitude by writing, “Extremely thankful for this opportunity. Go Tigers.”

Periman, a versatile 6-foot-2 guard/forward from Tuttle, Oklahoma, spent three seasons at Tulsa and has one year of eligibility left. She’s coming off her most productive collegiate season, averaging 8.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.9 blocks, and 1.3 steals over 33 minutes per game. Her performance included eight double-doubles, 14 double-digit scoring games, and 10 games with double-digit rebounds.

She led the American Athletic Conference in total blocks (56) and blocks per game (1.9), making her the only player in the league to exceed 40 blocks last season. Over her Tulsa career, she started 69 of 94 games and posted career averages of 4.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. She leaves ranked fifth in program history for blocks (137) and seventh in rebounds (644).

Periman joins other notable transfers headed to Clemson for the 2025–26 season, including Wake Forest forward Demeara Hinds, who averaged a career-high 9.3 points and led her team with 5.6 rebounds per game. Wofford’s Rachael Rose, a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year, also joins the squad after missing much of last season due to injury. In 2023–24, Rose dominated the SoCon with 22.3 points, 5.4 assists, and 2.13 steals per game.

Clemson finished 14–17 overall and 6–12 in the ACC last season, falling in the second round of the conference tournament.
