Liverpool and Arsenal Set for Transfer Showdown Over Hugo Ekitik

BILD journalist Christian Falk reports that both Liverpool and Arsenal have set their sights on Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitiké, with potential moves being considered in the upcoming summer transfer window. Both Premier League clubs are reportedly keen to bolster their attacking options, and the 22-year-old former Paris Saint-Germain forward has emerged as a key target.

Ekitiké has enjoyed a stellar season in the Bundesliga, netting an impressive 15 goals in 31 league appearances for Frankfurt. Following the departure of Omar Marmoush to Manchester City, the Frenchman has successfully adapted to the responsibility of leading the Frankfurt attack as the central striker.

Eintracht Frankfurt are currently on track to secure a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League, which will provide the club with a significant financial boost. Consequently, Frankfurt are under no pressure to sell Ekitiké and are expected to demand a substantial transfer fee for the former France youth international. The Bundesliga club will reportedly only entertain offers in the region of €100 million for their prized asset. This high asking price could present a significant hurdle for both Liverpool and Arsenal in their pursuit of the talented striker.
