Michigan State basketball’s Big Ten opponents are confirmed for next season.

Michigan State’s path for next season is now set, as the Big Ten announced the 2025-26 opponents. The Spartans will have a 20-game conference schedule, featuring a mix of home and away matchups. Michigan State will play Indiana, Michigan, and Rutgers both home and away. At home, they’ll face Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Ohio State, UCLA, and USC. On the road, they’ll play Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Washington, and Wisconsin.

After a strong season that saw Michigan State win the Big Ten regular-season title and make it to the Elite Eight, the team will look very different next season. The Spartans lost several key players, including Jaden Akins, Frankie Fidler, Szymon Zapala, and Jase Richardson, who declared for the NBA draft. Additionally, Tre Holloman, Gehrig Normand, and Xavier Booker transferred out, while Michigan State added new talent from the transfer portal, including Kaleb Glenn and Trey Fort.
