NBA announces additional start times for Celtics-Knicks second-round series.
The first round of the NBA Playoffs formally finished Sunday, so that meant the league released multiple tip times for the second round. The Celtics already knew some of their start times for Games 1, 2 and 7 for their series against the Knicks, but now, they know for the vast majority of the second round.
The lone game still without a tip time is Game 5, which would be in Boston if necessary. But otherwise, the other six games of the second-round series have an official tip time. Here’s a look at the updated schedule (*if necessary, all times ET):
Game 1: Monday, May 5 at TD Garden in Boston, 7 p.m. on TNT (Shop for tickets at StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats)
Game 2: Wednesday, May 7 at TD Garden in Boston, 7 p.m. on TNT(Shop for tickets at StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats)
Game 3: Saturday, May 10 at Madison Square Garden in New York, 3:30 p.m. on ABC (Shop for tickets at StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats)
Game 4: Monday, May 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York, 7:30 p.m. on ESPN (Shop for tickets at StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats)
Game 5*: Wednesday, May 14 at TD Garden in Boston, tip time TBD on TNT (Shop for tickets at StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats)
Game 6*: Friday, May 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York, 8 p.m. on ESPN (Shop for tickets at StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats)
Game 7*: Monday, May 19 at TD Garden in Boston, 8 p.m. on TNT (Shop for tickets at StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats)

The Celtics are heavily favored against the Knicks in the second round after sweeping the regular-season series. The defending champions also enter Monday’s Game 1 in Boston with a clean injury report with nobody listed. That’s a huge sign as the C’s battled some injuries during their first-round win over the Magic.
The C’s also get the benefit of six days off between series as they only took five games to down Orlando. The Knicks enter with a three-day break after they needed six games to overcome the Pistons.
