Roster Enhancements and Preseason Rankings

The Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team has made notable additions to its roster for the 2025–26 season. Reece Potter, a 7-foot-1 center from Lexington and transfer from Miami (OH), has committed to the Wildcats. Potter averaged 6.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season and is known for his shooting range, hitting nearly 40% from beyond the arc. His versatility is expected to be a valuable asset to the team’s rotation in the fall.

Additionally, Andrija Jelavić, a 6-foot-11 forward from Croatia, has officially signed with Kentucky. Jelavić played for KK Mega Superbet in the Adriatic League, averaging 11.0 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. His athleticism and international experience are anticipated to bolster the Wildcats’ frontcourt.

With these additions, Kentucky has been ranked No. 3 in The Field of 68’s “Way Too Early Top 25” rankings for the 2025–26 season, positioning them as the highest-ranked SEC team. The Wildcats are aiming for a strong performance in the upcoming season.
