UConn Huskies Football Unveils Ambitious 2025 Schedule with High-Profile Matchups
The UConn Huskies football team has unveiled its 2025 schedule, featuring a mix of challenging games that will push the team’s development and goals. Under head coach Jim Mora, who led the team to a nine-win season and a bowl victory in 2024, UConn is preparing to face a combination of traditional rivals and fresh challenges.
Key matchups include the season opener against Central Connecticut State at home on September 6, followed by a road game at Syracuse on September 13, which presents a significant early-season test. On September 20, the Huskies will play Ball State at home, and the following week, on September 27, they’ll travel to Buffalo to gain momentum for the rest of the season.

October begins with a home game against Florida International University (FIU) on the 4th, and the Huskies will face a tough road game at Boston College on October 18. On October 25, UConn will celebrate Homecoming with a game against Liberty University. The team will then travel to Duke on November 1, where they’ll face another difficult challenge.
The home finale will be on November 8 against Army, which promises to be an intense matchup, before wrapping up the season at home against UMass on November 15, aiming to finish the season strong.
This schedule is a testament to UConn’s commitment to competing at a high level, building on last season’s successes. With a balanced mix of home and away games, the Huskies are ready to showcase their growth and determination throughout the 2025 season.
